Most people who visit this site know me as a photographer, but I’m also a film and television actor.  This year The Vaughan Film Festival launched, and I was asked to be a part of the judging panel!  Before I mention the photography aspect of this post, I want to briefly mention that the quality of the films received (from all over the world) was outstanding!!  I encourage all of you to come and check out some of the films on April 18th at colossus movie theatre, for more info follow the link above.  Back to photography – Mark and Antonio, festival directors, approached me to take a few promo shots for their recent article in Whatever Vaughan Magazine.  Below you can see a copy of the article with the final photo selection, enjoy…

Christianne and Joe are two of the kindest people I have ever met.  The minute we sat down and got to know one other it felt like we had been friends for ages.  They were both eager to do a winter shoot, so we headed to the wine region of niagara.  I know without a doubt that their wedding will be a memorable one!!

Frank proposed to Daniela in Rome.  Although we tried, we weren’t able to get to Rome for their engagement shoot.  We decided on the closest thing to Rome in North America, New York City.  We attempted to visit the many iconic landmarks of the big apple, and while we covered some good ground, we learned just how big a city New York really is.  I’m really looking forward to their special day.

There are cute kids, and then there’s Luca.  Just look at how adorable that face is! Although I caught Luca snoozing a few times he was very well behaved at his baptism.  I wish I could say the same for some of his guests, kidding, I’m kidding. Everyone was great and had a really good time.

Jaime and Darryl’s wedding is going to be FUN!!!!  Finding one another seemed inevitable based on all the similarities they share, they have a great relationship and I can’t wait to see them on their wedding day in front of family and friends!

I’m going to start this post off saying something…(sigh)…very cliche and it goes like this…When Ezio introduced me to Jen I just knew there was something different about her.  I know, but literally, the only thought that registered was that these two are perfect for each other.  I can’t really explain it, and I know I’m not alone on this thought.

On to the shoot.  I really loved how involved they were, they came forward with all sorts of creative ideas, props, and of course the vintage theme, and I think we achieved what we set out to do.  I am so excited and looking forward to what is bound to be an amazing wedding filled with tons of emotions!!!
